I am 17 and still single?

I have never have a girl friend. I am shy at start then I am OK. I am short and a bit fat that's why I think I am single. I wear nice clothes and smell the best I can. Still single still virgin. All my mates have a girl friend every week and they write they love thy person. If I had a girlfriend I would treat her like a princess and never let her go

I feel for you bro... No advice, I'm in the same hole as you... I guess I'm not alone in being alone! And as far as working out, it doesn't take that much time. I run a mile every morning, and do short workouts in the afternoon- they take under 30 minutes. Abs and chest one day, biceps and shoulder/ back the next. It's a pretty focused workout, but it works for me. And for diet, don't starve yourself. Veggies and exercise increase metabolism, and some carbs for calories and protein for muscle. Just have everything in moderation( maybe less carbs and fat for more protein) , and don't pig out. If you want I could detail my workout plan, but depending on the build you want there are plans you can probably find online. So fitness isn't the biggest problem, you can fix that within a few months ( depending on how out of shape you are). Sounds like you are nice enough... So like me, your problem lies in facial attractiveness and shyness ... If you find a fix for these let me know:) good luck!

just work out and try to be more talkative. I'm 19 and I've never had a girlfriend but it doesn't bother me at all. Besides 17 is still young

The best advice I can give in this is to stop looking FOR a girlfriend. You don't want a girl who fits your mold, who's there because you want a girlfriend, and doesn't want that either. You want to meet a new girl with no intentions whatsoever, and be so totally blown away by her personality that you think, "I want a girlfriend because I want HER, not I want her because I want a girlfriend and she's good enough."

Also, you need to love yourself and be complete by YOURSELF before another person can complete you. You lack confidence, and that is severely unattractive. Before someone else can learn to make you happy, you need to make you happy.

Finally, cool your heels. It's not a race. It'll happen when it happens, and it's not going to happen before that. Be content in the moment and appreciate what you DO have.

Relax you are still young! You need to live a little, don't worry about girls. One will come along when you least expect it :)

Once your happy with yourself, things usually fall into place. But seriously your just 17, enjoy being single while you can :)
