My boyfriend likes to hurt and kill animals. Should I be worried about this?

My boyfriend likes to kill animals. He sometimes tells me stories about him doing it. Like, one time he told be that he strangled a kitty before...and he was laughing about it! He thought it was funny how the cat looked when it couldn't breathe. He also told me another time that he threw a baby kitty on top of the roof of his house and it got stuck and died up there from starvation. he thinks its funny.. My boyfriend is really sweet and nice to me but I don't know why he does this. is it normal? I don't know why he does it..should I be worried?

No that's not normal. I once killed a bird when I was five, but that was only because I wanted to pet it. But I squeezed it too hard and I feel bad about it. Now whenever I go into a pet store, the birds stop chirping and look at me like they know I did something to one of their kind.

I wouldn't trust him with a human baby. What if he kills it too? That's just not normal.

Yes. Read about it. That's generally a "warning sign" of a psychopath. It indicates a complete lack of empathy. Dump him immediately before he gets crazy attached to you!

He was very controlling of a mutual friend. And I got mad that he was like that. Because they weren't even together. So I told him off one day. Turns out he was abusive of her. She was terrified of him. I'm proud of the fact that I put him in jail. When the cops got him he had a lot of knives and a stunner in his car.

O and he choked me, the girl he was abusing and another friend. And then my friends were trying to talk me out of pressing charges...retards >.< idk who else he hurt but I made sure people knew what he did and was capable of.

He also went crazy when everyone stopped talking to him. His first night in jail he was demanding she stay indoors. First night out he was sending her pictures of himself all cut up on his arms. Scary stuff. People like that control is everything to them. Thank you glad someorearealizes it :)

This is sociopathic behavior. You need to dissociate with him and tell him to get some help. He needs to understand why this is not at all amusing. These guys can also be prone to setting fires. Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer had a history of animal cruelty.

Ummm sorry to say this but torturing and/or killing animals for the fun of it is one of the main signs that someone is or could become a serial killer. Break up with him... and stay very far away... and hire a body guard...sorry
