@Prof_Don I think they just take insults seriously and remove it as antagonism. If you waltz around it a bit and don't just say "all of them are evil" or whatever, it won't be "offensive" either. There's a way to meet the guidelines.

Presuming that they all left for the same reason... It's a natural trend; no one noticed when it wasn't high profile people but I know at least three of those people left for "professional" / "life change" reasons.

It may feel that way... The one thing about this place is that it is not actually a "hangout"; it became one and people come here frequently but it really is a question and answer website and isn't well built for creating lasting friendships. Longevity here is usually a sign of boredom and stagnation in life so when a person leaves it's really something to celebrate? That's how I see it. They grew up! They moved on!
