A Moment of Recognition for the Sweethearts of This Site

Yesterday wasn't my best day. I had a rough time at school and had to return home to a lonely couple of hours with no one to talk to. With my chest tight and my eyes full of tears, I took to GaG to seek out people to vent to. Within minutes I had people commenting to offer advice and friendship to get a total stranger through the rest of a miserable day. I was honestly expecting a lot of opinions calling me an attention whore for posting about my sadness here, but I didn't get any. I've never been so proud of my fellow GaGgers as I was yesterday when I saw how so many people were willing to jump in to help someone they didn't even know.

@Trotters for messaging me for an extended period of time to be sure I was alright, and for giving me insight from an adult point of view. You actually helped a lot, and I appreciate that.

@BearsAnswers for trying to come up with solutions for me to fix my problem or to find a support group. it was nice knowing someone cares, and I will use your suggestions.

@Foreverconfused21 for offering someone to vent to. I appreciate the offer very much, and I will remember the advice that you gave me while we talked.

@FOOLibra for talking to me for a little while about hobbies and such. It was great to get my mind off of the issues of the day.

@tazman2908 for giving me someone to talk to about my problem. Talking helps a lot more that you'd think, so this is actually a pretty big deal to me.

@Facepalm for discussing some health stuff with me and trying to help dig deeper into the issue I had yesterday.
