Don't give try to give advice you aren't qualified to give. Make him do all the chasing, all the time, and he'll figure you aren't that interested in him.
This can potentially be horrible advice because some guys just aren't big into text. I had a guy who hardly texted me, but treats me like a damn platinum queen in person! I'd have lost a great relationship if I listened to this. The guy did text me when it was needed tho.
What happens if he has the same mindset about you? And you both play this stupid game of chicken until you die?
surely if I was text you often I expect you to repay me the favour. That is why a lot of girls contemplate on texting in the first place because girls love to chat... that isn't a guy thing and that is known but effort needs to be equal

So obviously each situation is different, and you have to make a judgement call based on each person.
@PTE2015 if a guy isn't answering my texts it is time to move on. Judgement based on the person is not needed unless the person died or was abducted by aliens. If he doesn't respond he simply isn't into you. Just sayin.
