So I am basically talking about the nice guys in their teenage years. People who are still in school, college, etc. My intentions are good.
1. Don't get walked over

More than often assholes will challenge and test you. It could be in the form of simple words where they mock you or it could be physical where they fondle you or touch your personal items. Whatever it is, you just have to stand for yourself, sometimes you may have to literally kick some ass.
2. Don't fear authority

Authority in the context of school/ college faculty, etc .Don't tolerate someone's BS simply because you fear fighting back will create problems and drama. I mentioned kicking ass, but if you have a fear of authority where you just submit every time then that's a problem for your self-esteem. If someone is bullying you, fight back with words or your fist, but fight back. Get into trouble if you have to, but defend your honor. Violence is not the way, but trust me, once in a blue moon such a situation can come. Just hope that one hit is enough to ward them off.
3. Priorities
Family comes first, then you, then the rest of the world. Dont be a toolbox for any random person/ person you know. Don't let people just use you and walk all over you. If you are an incapable person you do not need to fear being used though.
4. Talk it out face to face
This advice is applicable to pretty much any kind of person but since nice guys might not be straight forward and blunt they may resort to communicating their feeling through social media, texts or something far less convincing and impactful. Don't be shy and talk about your feelings to someone you trust and better yet to the very person concerned. Do not, I mean do not rely on texts and fb, etc to sort your relationship hurdles/ problems, it can causes misunderstandings. Even phone calls to a degree can cause misunderstanding as there is potential for disturbances, etc.
5. Turn your back on fake friends

6. Get the hints, get the clues, understand them.

Fact is most of us are gonna be like raw apples when it comes to girls. To avoid the downward spiral into hopelessness and confusion at least have somebody in your life who can help you break down situations and help you understand them. There is no understanding a girls mind, but there are general rules still which you may need help with. Like this one time the hot girl in my class was trying to initiate the footsie game but I totally did not get it back then, what she was trying to accomplish. I'm not saying become an expert at dating or something like that, but at least have a minimum understanding of what the other gender is doing around you in relation to you etc.
There is some more, but for now if this gets a positive enough feedback I'll do Part 2.

#2 is exactly right. Call me what you will but I honestly think that part of the reason that there are less real men in this world is because there is more authority cracking down on standing up for oneself. Guys are more afraid to stand up for themselves now because there is less acceptance for retaliation with guys and more acceptance for retaliation with girls. At least where I live, when girls fight, when girls jump each other, they just get a talking to by the authorities who try to get them to be friends again. Also when girls do shit, the one who wins is given praise by the other girls for being a "badder bitch." Guys on the other hand, when someone starts swinging it usually ends with legal stuff happening. Unacceptable.
Which makes me wish I should have stood up for myself back in those days. People are left with an image of me being a pushover. Sucks. But now I dont care much. They can try that now, they will be disapointed. :D
Lol @ more tips for the nice guys lol
They need guidance as much as Frodo needs Gandalf.
