MGTOW is the male equivalent of feminism, and is dumb. It is unhealthy for society and unhealthy for men and women. It does more harm than good. I'm an egalitarian, so I don't like either group.

You cannot be a MGTOW whilst married. I'd link you to the MGTOW page, stating the FAQ Question: Can I be married and mgtow? The short answer is no.

If that was the plan, I don't know any MGTOWs personally other than knowing of them responding here or through various other questions. I take it most are in the shadows with their views IRL. Just wanted to do a little research and find out what the big deal was.

Ha. I'd say that, with a few exceptions, your expectation was met. But then, I'm a little less likely to shame or attack people for making choices outside the lamestream, so *shrug*.
If you're serious about really understand the what's and why's of MGTOW, you're research should focus on YouTube videos. However, that's a very deep and wide ocean, and you may have difficulty working through the chaff to find the essence.
