MGTOW is nothing but a modern term for something that has existed for as long as humans have. Many of the great minds, artists, scientists, and religious men throughout history have been "MGTOW".

MGTOW even got so bad towards the end of Rome that they had to introduce anti bachelor laws to try and force men to participate and get involved with society and women again, it didn't work.

Are some MGTOW angry, hurt, and bitter or possibly even Incel's? Yes of course, but so what! Aren't they just as free as anyone else to choose their own path in life? After all they just want to live and let live.

Yet for some reason plenty of people seem to think this means they need to shut up and not share their opinions and that they are nothing but losers who don't matter. I think this says more about hateful nature of the critic then it does about the individual MGTOW.

Some of these, I don't agree with. For one, Jesus. Jesus was happily single, exemplifying that men do not need sex to be complete or a "real man".. And he was also selfless, showing that he did not need to rely on fulfillment by outside things or other people, when someone tried to hurt him he took responsibility for his own feelimgs and responded to the person by helping them to better thenselves to the point of no longer hurting people. He also treated women with compassion and respect, even when other men thought they no longer deserved it. He also was a man of change, but his inner circle of fellow advocates included women, though they were mentioned less they were just as important, showing that Jesus considered change to be about working together not against each other. Ghandi was a man of change as well, would probably find a way to lead an example of what a better system would look like opposed to just looking down on the one in place. Eminem is known for having trouble with women, even giving up on relationships altogether, but he still limits it to his own experiences opposed to basing his view of the system on how he has been hurt, and also takes responsibility for his own role in the relationship problems opposed to blaming it on the women, and has dedicated himself to raising his daughter to be the kind of person that would treat a guy right. I agree with you that there is no need to disrespect or trash MGTOW for their choices, but I also hope that maybe in the future MGTOW can unify and redefine their concept to actively changing the system to benefit humanity opposed to just one group, and that women can be seen as unique opposed to collectively toxic, and as fellow members of humanity and ones that can be encouraged to play a crucial part of the change that needs to take place, opposed to objects of fulfillment or the embodiment of a system flaw.

The only mgtow I know of in history is Nikola Tesla who said multiple times women were a distraction to him and he didn't wanted to conform to social conventions, in terms of dating, romantic relationships and marriage. He spend all his resources (time, money, effort) in himself exclusively. He wasn't gay nor he wasn't a mysogynist but he saw romance as nothing but wasted efforts. Jesus was an exception. He was the only perfect human to walk the earth, and was beyond even needing sex. There is some story about him being involved with Mary Magdalene, but that was a fabricated story that has nothing to back it up. Jesus did not love women in that kind of way.

I think people in pain are more likely to loudly voice their anger and frustration and also more likely for people to listen and remember when they do. There are three kinds of Christians, the ones who follow Christ/Jesus's example, the ones who do what their religious leaders say even if it contradicts Jesus's teachings, and the ones who do whatever pleases them. Sadly only few Christians follow Jesus example.

Yet they all call them selves Christians and do, in their opinion, their best to be as good a Christian as they can.

For example, no Christian has ever lived up to the example set by Jesus, it's an impossible standard. Bu that's ok! Because his standard is a fantastic example to strive to follow, even if some people are better at it than others. Just because someone may be a "bad" Christian for a time does not mean they can't repent, change and be better.

The same goes for MGTOW, just because someone is angry, bitter and very vocal about it now does not mean they will be like that forever. It takes time for people to grow and to heal.

In your opinion, would it be better if MGTOW picked examples to follow that fit the narrative of bitter hateful person or examples of people like Buddha, Jesus etc? If someone actually did decide to live as closely to Jesus or Buddha as they could, they would very much be opting out of society just as many MGTOW say they want to do...
