I must apologize. The source I got this picture from said 1995, which is one of the poll choices, but that didn't sound right. I did some more digging and found the original, which was taken in 1965.

Definitely not 1946 because that is the year that the bikini was first introduced.
I think most bikinis were higher waisted in the '50s.
It could be some time in the '60s, but I'm going with 1970.

Bikinis were much smaller by 1984. Especially the tops.

I am guessing 1970. A few of the bikinis look just a bit too daring for 1959 and they are all too much for 1946, but too conservative for 1984.

I am pretty sure this was taken in the 60s as polka dots and bikinis like the ones in the pictures were worn by many women in the 60s movies that I grew up watching.

My mom used to go to Coney Island when she was a teenager and hung out there. She told me a lot of stories about it.
I guessed in the 40's, but I didn't notice the white sunglasses so it's nearer to 1960.

The bikini was named after Bikini Atoll; specifically for the nuclear testing that was done there. I don't remember when that was, other than it was after the war and it wasn't declassified until later still. So 1946 is too early. Those all look to be early designs of the bikini, making 59 and 70 the top two contenders; if it isn't a date listed it is probably a year between these two. With the photo being black and white, I am going to guess 1959.
