We've probably all been there at some point "Oh, I'm gonna make him wait, and play games, etc"
and guys have probably thought "Oh I want a girl that lets me have the chase"
We don't want to be throwing ourselves at the other person, but what typically happens once the chase is over? Well yeah, sure you could get into a relationship with him, but most cases, they lose interest and move on to the next girl that will lead them on and be"challenging for them" whatever that even means.
I've done the mistake of being too forward with a guy I've talked to, and possibly sharing information about myself too fast. But if someone was genuinely interested in you they wouldn't text you saying "You're getting boring, I'm losing interest, I was talking to you to be nice, I don't don't even give a f*ck about people online" HELL NAH. (and yes, I've received those texts) but anyways, if they actually liked you, they'd read everything you sent them and appreciate the fact you decided to share personal stuff with them.
So instead of being hard to get, BE HARD TO FORGET!! If you're hard to forget, ya don't need to worry about losing them. You don't have to worry about competition. You can always have that special place in that heart if you wanted to so I have no idea why all of us play hard to get but don't just make ourselves unforgettable.
The key is not playing games. People who “love the chase” aren’t looking for anything real, they’re looking to play.
This quote from the website literally made me realize so much. Why play stupid games? Be unforgettable and you've got the other person hooked. Be more focused on your character, personality, hobbies, family, friends, etc rather than staring at the clock until exactly 53 minutes and 45 seconds have gone by so you can text him again. Yeesh.
Give them a reason to want to see you and speak to you again! Do you like someone? Then act like it. Don’t throw yourself at them but don’t give them a hard time either. Have your own life, your life shouldn’t centre on them but always remain consistent with them. What does that mean? You don’t need to act a certain way to keep them interested. Playing games isn’t necessary, actually, playing games will only cause you grief and give off the WRONG impression.
If you have to play games to keep them interested, then you've obviously got to work on yourself because someone who is truly attractive will start to glow on their own without having to hide behind little games and tactics. They don't need that because they have the ability to keep someone interested. They are the mystery that everyone wants to learn about and find out about. They keep everyone hooked. :) -Sherry
