It's not just good-looking guys. I know quite a few average and even rather unattractive guys who have that attitude. They have the same little smirk and "I know you want this" attitude as some of the good-looking guys.
I think that attitude is absolutely ridiculous no matter what you look like. You can look like Channing Tatum for all I care, if you have that douchebaggy demeanor you are anything but a gift, and a smart girl will not be attracted to a guy like that.
They are cocky because they are good looking. It's rare to actually find anyone that is good looking that is not cocky. Usually the average people are nicer but people don't like to choose them because they are too shallow. And then they wonder why their relationship doesn't work.
Because at the end of the day, they are still insecure deep inside. And that's their way of hiding it.
Because girls drool over them and they pick up on that drooling. Just like a good looking female. She picks up on how guys give her attention and it boosts her ego to astronomical levels. For example I was watching this show called Guy Code , and they were talking about job interviews. The girl said that whenever she interviews for a job and she knows its a guy giving the interview, she makes sure to wear something showing some cleavage but if its a woman, she covers up.
because us good looking guys get the attention we want from girls and you just give it to us for free so we get cocky as fuck. when we've been like that for most of our lives its just in our nature at this point. we know we can own you any time and if we can't own you personally then there's always the next girl. thats why were cocky as fuck.

They are cocky because they are good looking, your question has the answer but I know what you mean. Most of the time that's all the have to offer, their looks and lack in other departments. Sometimes it takes someone to reject them to chill the f**k down.
Because girls treat them like they are God's gift to women. If girls treated good looking guys like they do ugly guys, then good looking guys would instead suffer from low self esteem, while being told they need to act like real men and have more confidence.
In my point of view, they brag with what they have.Someone has brains, someone has good looks.If someone has both, I don't think they would show off with their body.
Maybe they are cocky because of the attention girls gave them in the past. It's called being arrogant... it's called having pride.
