Boyfriend yelled at me and scared me. Was I wrong?

So yesterday my boyfriend came to see me after football practice, so I did what I always do, I kiss him & hug on him & all the cuddly stuff. I asked him did he anything. He just shook his head, so I was trying to make conversation & he screams for me to **** off! & leave him the **** alone! I was shocked & I felt really bad so I got up & went out for a walk.

I left my phone at the house on the charger. So I get back home & he's in my face, pinning me against a wall yelling really loud that I was out cheating on him bc I didn't answer my phone, & that I don't care about him he called me a b**** & said I was selfish. I started crying bc he legit scared me! He's a big guy like 5"11 & plays football so he's quite big I guess. Anyways I'm crying & he's yelling that I'm a weak b**** & that 1 really stuck to me, he actually scared me.
Yeah maybe I should've had my phone on me but I didn't think it'd be that big of a deal. He told me to go away when I was just trying to help & I was nice about it.
He hasn't even said sorry or anything! He won't even talk to me! I've tried talking to him & he just ignores me or pushes me off.

Was what I did really that bad? Or is he just stressed?

Crazy as hell. This behavior is not normal. Invest in self-defense and try never to be alone, break up with him and run. I think this type of person will attempt to retaliate for breaking up, and you should not be a victim of physical abuse.

He could be on juice, aka Steroids. Talk to him about it. IF, and that's a big IF, you are being completely honest about what happened then that means he was out of line, not you.

I'm not going to make a judgment call because maybe you're holding back information. Were you arguing the day before? Have you been hanging out with a guy friend behind his back? etc.

No that's the thing we were perfectly great the day before we went out to lunch & everything!! & heck no! I have 1 guy friends & he knows about him! Plus the dudes gay, I think it was something at football practice that messed him up really.

It could also be juice. He has no reason to do that to you. That was a really big overreaction. I'm trying to understand why he would overreact like that, maybe he has a really bad temper you don't know about or... like I said, juice.

You should be scared because its only going to keep happening... thats unacceptable and it only gets worse. The pinning gainst the wall is coward bullshit and he is insecure or cheating on u or both which is why he reacted that way. Verbal abuse is almost worse than physical (i have hadb both done to me) . There is nothing worse than being accused of things u did not do.

That's how abusive relationships start. They're not abusive from the beginning or else you wouldn't date them in the first place.. that's why girls in these relationships a lot of the time end up staying with the person, because they're emotionally invested. They've seen the "good side" of that person and think that they can bring that person back.

I think the best thing for you is to find someone new and get rid of that guy.
