Guys, what do you do if you hear you roommate having sex with his girlfriend?

Whenever my guy's roommates are home and we have sex, I feel really awkward/uncomfortable that they might be able to hear us lol. I'm much quieter if his roommates are home, but I know they can still hear his bed moving and everything. When I'm leaving and I see them, I get embarrassed (even though they don't say anything about us having sex).

Do you guys just pretend that you don't hear what's going on in your roommates bedroom? I've never had roommates so I don't know lol.

When I've had my roommate banging his girlfriend back in college, I didn't really care. People have sex, plain and simple. Every 2-3 days, my own gf would come over and we'd be screwing and making noise too. When I came out of the room, it wasn't awkward. I guess it just depends on the personalities you're dealing with.

If the roomates are mature, or if they have gfs of their own, they are probably used to it. If the roomates are prude, or never had a girlfriend, they could find it amusing and snicker when you come out. Mostly though, they're likely jealous that they aren't getting any.

Although being loud during sex when other people are in the home is a little rude. Only one time, my roommate apologized to me. He brought a girl home from the bar on his birthday and banged her so hard the headboard of the bed was slamming the apartment walls. He said sorry for the noise in the morning, but I didn't even notice because I drank so much I was passed out cold. So his apology actually made me aware of what actually happened.

Lol we know and we high five after. But seriously the way the guys feel is very dependent on how they feel about themselves. I know guys who hear there friends having sex and get angry or annoyed (usually they feel like they aren't getting as much as they want). Sometimes it's jealousy. I've never felt this way about sex but I have lived with a guy that was so rude to his girlfriend but she was so nice and loving and I was upset he didn't appreciate her I'm sure some guys feel this way when they hear their roommates having sex. A lot of the time it's just a small sense of pride like "yeah that's my friend. Get some bruh." Other times it's sadness like "here I am alone having to listen to this." And occasionally it's just funny. Like we hear him say something he thinks is sexy and we just can't help but laugh. But really deep down they don't care. They're most likely fixated on their own life and you two having sex will occupy the smallest amount of their time. It's just not that important.

if i had roommates, id just laugh and be happy for them. id put on some smexy music and leave it in front of their door, then give them thumbs up when they come out. but its a different story if they wake me up with all the screaming :(
i had a buddy that was dorming with a guy so they shared the same room. whenever i came over, he would come in to turn on some music and leave condoms on the table. then with a different group of friends, we rented a cabin and they put me in a room with one of guys. we had no doors or anything so they would throw condoms at us in the middle of the night. yea... i dont think guys really care haha

Because he has his own room and they're either downstairs in the living room or in their own rooms... or we will already be having sex and one of them will come home in the middle of it

Seriously, it's no big deal. I hear my roommate and his girlfriend having sex all the time, and he hears it when my girlfriend's over. I usually just turn the volume up on the TV.

And there's no "pretending we don't hear" - of course we hear, it's just too obvious for discussion.

Seems a bit weird that you have sex when people can hear it. At first I would be happy for him if he is a friend, if it was all the time I'd just get pissed off and ask them to calm it down atleast.

Well I mean they work on the same work schedule so when my guy is home, there's a chance that his roommate will be home lol
