What does it mean if a guy puts two dots after a word?

So I was texting my ex (I don't want to hear move on so don't even try it) and we were talking about how my email service sucks.

Me: Did you have trouble getting my emails when we were together? (we've been emailing for a while)
Him: No, I don't think I had trouble getting your emails when we were together..

It made me think that he might have thought of our old relationship.

Tell me, am I over thinking it or does it mean something?

Before that it was like this.

Me: Sorry for last week. (I got mad at him for nothing)
Him: You are really confusing
Me:Why?
Him: A lot of your emails are not showing.
(Then starts the part in the question)

He just randomly changed topic.

That really depends on the individual and its best asking said individual

iv know the old.. to be:

Procrastination, e. g there is morre i want to say but for what ever reason i can't or wont.
indicating a space or a break before the next word or sentance, some times for emphasis.
or the best of all its a typo as in ops accidentaly hit tha t. key twice!

as i said before best way to find out is simply to ask the source what he means with/by the.. on the end of that word or sentance.

You are overthinking this. It just indicates uncertainty (i. e., he doesn't know whether he received all emails, as there could be a few that fell through the cracks without his knowledge).

It clearly means he accidentally hit the period button twice. It happens. There's no meaning behind it other than he's lazy and didn't proofread. There's no great mystery. He's not trying to tell you anything. There's no hidden code. Its just an extra period. Nothing more.
