Why does he copy me?

So I don't really speak to him but he imitates me? E. g. if he is speaking to me and if i was to nod or use my hands he would copy in a mocking way. Or if he heard me speaking to someone he would say the exact words to me and speak in my voice or at least attempt to speak in a girls voice.

Another thing is, when he is speaking to my friend or who ever i am with is speaking to him, he would look into my eyes then refer to me i. e. says my name is his conversation as an example why is this? How do I deal with it because it annoys me?
