Every night my husband comes home goes to the bathroom sits on toilet for 45 min then takes a shower what is he doing and why does it take so long

Did your husband always take showers at night? If yeah I wouldn't worry too much about it, he probably just uses that time to unwind and have alone time (we all need some alone time). If this is a new development and if he is not wanting to get intimate with you as much anymore then it could be something more serious and you guys should have an honest talk about what is going on with your relationship.

Well we still have sex he just says he is tired during the week and so we do it maybe once a week and every night on weekend I even give him bj in middle of week and he has always taken shower as soon as he got home because he is covered in grease but just seems like it takes longer and longer each time

Yeah I wouldn't worry about this being anything other than he needs some time to relax and be alone. Something you can do maybe is talk to him ask him if something is going on at work that has him stressed. You also could maybe one day take the kids out and give him a day alone in the house, he might enjoy this too.

The bathroom for men is a place of solitude... it's one of the few places you can go into the house, be isolated, lock the door, and be able to tell people to leave you alone without resistance.

He may be reading something and loses track of time, he may be answering work emails, he may be watching something on Netflix/Hulu, he may be watching p*rn.

Regardless, he just need some time alone (especially since u may not give him the quiet alone time every man craves).

I usually read or play psp when I poo. I try to make sure everything is gone. In this day and age you can never tell when you're really finished. So, I like to take extra time to be sure. Then when it's all gone you can hope into the shower and be sure that you're clean inside and out.
