Are guys who can't be bothered chasing women likely to end up single forever?

Many guys seem to chase women everywhere but it's just too much effort doing that. I don't enjoy "fishing" for women as some call it.

I would say that anyone will be single for a while if they are chasing the type of person that is not interested. Sometimes guys just don't get it and women as well but a guy will string a girl along and use her for sex she is still mentally chasing him for more then that. With guys a girl that is not interested will continue to run and will only bothered if she is manipulating type who will use you for financial gain. I don't like the chase at all it is too complicated to see who is really genuine. I don't make guys chase me that I like I let them know that I am interested but there are still guys that will chase and think I am playing hard to get but I'm not they are just delusional especially if I am vocal and I say that I am not interested maybe it translates to something else lol

The cases where being friends first leading to more is possible, but rare. Just look around. If the odds were in your favor, you would not see it being as big an issue with as many people as it is. The fact is she has to have some sort of attraction to start that you can build on. It doesn't just materialize over time.

Actually, a woman that has a certain amount of interest will pursue you. They may be less common, but you will have less work ahead of you as they come with a higher than usual interest level. Woman know what they want and will do things out of character to get what they want. The problem is usually when this happens, a guy sees this interest and fears she will lose it. So he starts to chase her to maintain interest and changes the whole dynamic for the worse. You have to be consistent and steady.

So it is enough to just work on key life skills such as confidence right? People always say to me if I can't even be friends with a woman, I'll never have a family but I don't think that's true.

Confidence helps for sure. However, I don't think making friends with women is really the answer. The ones that pursue will feel romantically attracted to you right off the bat. What you may need to learn is how to interact with women on a social level. If you don't interact with women socially, then there is no way potentially interested candidates will even know if there is anything about you they find interesting.

Initiating conversation. Joke around. Talk about what they are into and find out more about them.

In My Experience of 20 years of living, if you don't apply yourself you won't get anything In life. See that job, it won't come to you, you go to the job. See that smartphone, you go to the smart phone.

You don't need that much experience. You just need to be familiar with women and their ways... which is why its good enough to just be friends with them in your 20's

If a guy goes MGTOW like you said and then wants to get married, then he's going to likely wind up with a woman who has had way more partners than him. I for one would not have settled for that if I hadn't met my fiancee. The whole reason that the MGTOW thing is so big is because women are sleeping with the "bad boys" in their 20s and then "settling" for the established, responsible guys in their 30s. The same guys they wouldn't have given the time to in their wild days. MGTOW is about walking away from that game and refusing to play. I almost went that route, but I managed to find a lovely lady who shared my values and beliefs.

When a guy is established and accomplished, dating can become more and more about what he has to offer in terms of lifestyle, as opposed to who he is a person. If a guy cannot successfully date or is regularly rejected by a certain type of woman when he is financially restricted, then he should know that it's not him per se who she wants when he is dating her when is accomplished.

Girls are always saying they want to see a guy who has passion, who is career oriented, and obviously, a girl wants a guy who is financially stable, on top of his personality. Giving yourself time to develop your skills, passions and career is a fine idea imo. Besides, its not like you can look at a person and tell exactly how much they make, their career, and all of that. You dont need to play your whole card when dating. just reveal enough to get them interested

@Asker, I agree. I was merely referring to the all to often instances where some men consistently failed at attracting a certain type of women based on personality and looks alone, then finds that they are able to attract such women when they are successful and established.
