What does it mean when a guy blocks you on whatsapp?

So I have been talking to this guy i met on a dating website. We haven't met its been 3 weeks since we started talking. Soon after 2 weeks he said he started liking me and wants to take things to the next level. I said it sounds absurd that we haven't met in person (he lives in nyc and I live in IL) So anyways I know travelling is a big thing. Then one day he just blocked me and i was really shocked then he unblocks me after a day and says he's been losing his mind and really wants me, he just cannot focus on his job, life anymore. Then I said I need to meet him in person first and then only i can decide which i think is reasonable. Then he said he needs some surety that things will workout otherwise i am just leading him on and to that i said i need a week to decide. So anyhow we tried talking for a week and in the middle of the week we had a fight again on the same topic (commitment) then he blocks me again and unblocks after a day and said we should talk again and this time till the week ends. So now the week ended and he has blocked me again and its been 2 days since we last talked. I really dont know how to approach this situation. Now i am driving myself nuts! This guy showed interest, said all the cutest things i wanted to hear from a guy which made me fall for him but at the same time i realize that its on the internet and for that i wanted to meet him in person. How do i approach this? What do I do i just cannot stop thinking about him anymore. Why does he keep blocking me? and this time did he block me for good?

I find him immature ie blocking , unblocking. If a guy really likes you he wouldn't play such a game. As for what he said to you, many douchebags do that to trap girls so dont plunge deeper. You are right to only fall for a guy after you have seen him in person, this is reasonable.
I think you should forget about him... not worth your time.

He told you how he felt. But unfortunately you guys aren't on the same page. Its an awkward thing to admit to someone they like them after a short period of time. When he knew you werent on "the same page" it kind of took him a back. His blocking you on and off hoping to be able to wipe you out (literally)
