My boyfriend blocked me on whatsapp and Instagram while not on any others apps, what does this mean?

Right now, we are in a long distance, We have had a fight and he said he's gonna block me and blocked me on two apps, not anywhere else. Do you think he will come back to me or should I move on? It's been 3 days since he blocked me, I'm very upset, but I didn't want to reach out first because I'm the one who reaches out everytime.

The moment he blocks you on anything is the moment he doesn't want you to know his business.

Now, I want to be clear: There's a difference between sharing passwords and accounts versus being blocked. Sharing passwords and accounts removes all privacy which is unacceptable because we ALL need a certain amount of privacy or we will go nuts.

But deliberately blocking you on apps is something else. This is an indicator that he wishes to do things without you knowing, yet, it is loud and clear that he is making that statement by blocking. OR...

He's just being immature and having a hissy fit.

Either way, dump him because neither is good: immaturity and/or duplicitousness.

We've been together for 2 years and we used to fight a lot and he also blocked me many times, but usually I contact him , this time I didn't and he did not make any attempt, it's been 3 days.

@abc3643 I would say he just gives her a time out to cool things off. Most couples do that, it's like going to another room, or spending some time apart...
The problem is, he always expects her to contact him first and apologize.. It's like a form of manipulation to get his way. This type of people never apologize or admit their mistakes, they think they are always right

He never admits his mistake and always blame me that I'm negative, I'm dramatic etc. And I know that he wants me to contact him but I contacted him first most probably more than 100 times, this time I didn't because I fell ashamed that I'm the one to contact everytime. Since I didn't contact he still keeps me blocked. Do you think he will unblock me and contact me himself?
