What does it mean when a guy touches your waist? Why do guys like to? WHY?

We were talking and I swayed for a moment out of tiredness. But then he put his hand lightly on my waist, but only after I had steadied myself. It lasted maybe 4 seconds. He smiles quite a lot and tries to sit/stand next to me when he can. Does this mean anything or am I over thinking all of this? This is not the first time its happened. So what do you think?

He cares for you a lot (doesnt means he wants something from you), he was just trying to make you comfortable and probably didn't even think about it. Its a natural reflex for men

How would I know? I'm not him you have to be direct with him and ask him what he sees between you two he'll just tell you us guys are simple animals that sometime dont know how to express things unless directly addressed.

It is a psychological trick they use to tell a girl they are ok touching them.
