I have a boy classmate that keeps on hugging me?

Exactly what it says. He keeps on hugging me at the back, it's weird. When he walks past me at the back he always rubs my head like a little kid, then I play along and act grumpy and fix back my hair, and when I do that he smiles at me. I'm just curious, is he gay, or is he just playful and nice? I've known him for years already but it's just now that he acts like that.

Ehm, that does make sense, I don't know why he would say that too. But I still want to be friends with him, gay or not! I don't care if people are gay, lesbians, or transexual, to me they are just people who have interests with the same gender, or act like the opposite gender. I'm a friendly guy, but still a loner! XD

Okay, a few days past since he last hugged me... So I took that chance to tell him my crush. When I told him my crush, all he said was "I've always suspected that you'd like her.", and that's all. I just told him this a few days ago. So I guess, he was just doing that because, he thought I was gay for not having a crush on a girl... I'm gonna get revenge on him soon. Hehehehe... >:)

He might be attracted to you and is simply flirting. If you are uncomfortable with it, you are going to have to tell him. Him being gay is irrelevant. You feeling uncomfortable is the real issue here. If he is your friend, he will listen and respect your boundaries.

Look.. I'm also a shy person, but it's hard when something's bugging you. So I suggest for you to man up and ask him. There's nothing wrong if you do that unless you'll sound rude. I also have a friend who's older than me and she acts like that. Well, we are girls so I think it's normal but sometimes I joke around and ask her if she's lesbian or what? And she never feels offended. And... if he's gay, what'd you do?

i have some guy friends and they would never say that to a boy.. that is just so weird.. so i think he is gay but its better for you to calm down. think first before you react. the question here is... if my guess is right, do you still want to be his friend? wether you do or dont, you need to confront him.. we might be thinking wrong. dont try to avoid him that would look rude. if he really like you and you dont feel comfortable about it then let him know where he stand.. if he is a true friend he will respect your decision
