Mainly a question for the guys unless girls have experience with guys like this. I'm curious if it's just because a guy is shy, or if he's trying to be hard to get or if he's worried about being annoying, what is it that makes a guy not text first?
I ask because currently there are two guys that do this.
One of them is a friend of mine, who I know for a fact likes me because his friend told me, but he never texts me first and I found that kind of curious since he likes me? However, if i text him, i usually get a reply within 5 minutes and he will continue the conversation and seems to almost drop everything to talk. Does this just mean he waits for me to make the first moves? And again, why is that? (I do not like him but I enjoy our conversations because he is a friend.)
The second guy I am talking to and we flirt a lot and I'm not sure if we're going anywhere or not but I'm fine with that because neither of us are putting pressure on it or expecting anything, we're just having fun. However he has only ever texted first on his own like once or twice. What i mean by this, is being the first to start a conversation if we haven't talked in a couple days. (We usually go 3 days to a week in between conversations) He will text first if it's a continue of another conversation, for example, we usually stay up until 2-3 am talking, and if i fall asleep first, he will send a second text a half hour or so after his last one basically saying something like "aw i think you fell asleep. Goodnight :)" and then he sometimes will even send a third text the next morning saying "goodmorning" but he has rarely ever been the one to text if it's been awhile. (like i said if it's been a couple days i'll usually give in and text him again and he'll be quick to reply and talk.) so Again, just wondering why that might be?
