Why do guys never text first? What do guys think of girls texting first?

This is probably the most annoying thing ever. Whenever I text with guy, I am the one who starts the conversation. There are times when the conversation goes on and on for hours, but the thing is. I don't want to come off as annoying by texting first. Guys, please answer honestly.

You jsut found the universal reason for why people does not like to always be the convo starter! Seriously, buys and girls, if you like a person and you are with the person, don't always start the convo. It should be both's duty to do that, in equal amonuths.

Really? REALLY? Almost all the girls I've dated have never been the one to start a conversation via text - it is a thrill when one does because I know she's interested in talking to me!

Guys might not want to text first because a lot of girls will use almost any excuse to call a guy a desperate needy creep.

There are plenty of guys that text first.
Maybe they're busy.
Maybe they aren't thinking of you.
Maybe they don't want to seem annoying.
There are plenty of different reasons why some guys don't text first.
Could be the same reason why you don't like texting first.

They may want to see if u text first, but a lot i text first and i may wait to see if they text me first or not. For me it seems i text first the most but i try to wait a few days just in case they text me.
