Why do men feel the need to cheat on their girlfriends? My boyfriend is currently cheating on me and I just don't know why... I'm not ugly, I actually have guys chasing after me, I'm college educated, and I have a great personality (i believe personally lol) but that's still not enough for him. So I'm just wondering what compels men to stray away from what they already have?

God is the only school of thought that teaches a man to be faithful and God is illegal in the USA. When you have a culture to say that being unfaithful is freedom of choice. In some countries that choice is punished with death. In the military it can be a crime falling under Article 134. Patraous the head guy in the military lost his comission for cheating. I don't condone this behavior but when you really give it thought... i'd say its mainly because the S/O eventually begins to slob off and getting too comfortable and begin to loose what at first sparked that reaction. Therefore, the attraction begins to fade.
