Why would a guy give a girl free stuff all the time?

There is a guy that works down stairs from where i work and a few times a week he gives me a free coffee, especially when there isn't anyone around but on Monday morning he gave me a free coffee again when my friend was with me and even called me over and said aren't we friends anymore strainger because i walked past in a hurry going to meetings the last couple of days he was there.
Does he like me or is it my imagination? My friends thinks he likes me and flirts with me but i really can't tell.

I think he likes you. Guys don't just give girls free things and asking you if you're not friends anymore because you did not greet him a few times, obviously shows that he misses your company

His cute but i don't feel that way about him i see him as a friend especially im friends with one of his friends too, i like having guy friends more than girlfriends because i find men easier to talk too.

Girls are judgmental and i find guys eccept your word and move on, and i usually have great challenging conversation with guys

In that case I think you have met the wrong girls. I have a lot of great girl friends who are the sweetest, most understanding people on earth (they are friends with me, after all). That doesn't matter though, back to the subject.
If you only like him as a friend, that's fine. At this point I don't think there is really that much you can do about it.
