One night, me and my guy friend were texting. I just asked for fun that who are the girls you are talking to. We are good friends so it was casual question. He was like: You are the only girl talk to. Haha And I recently noticed memes of it as well. So guys... why do you do it?

I dont understand the whole meme thing, that makes no sense, but maybe he was talking about being forever alone, which is a meme reflective of loneliness and the fact that the only girl he's talking to has dumped him in the friend zone forever. Clearly if he's talking to a girl in the friendzone then no girls are interested in him and so he compensates by talking to the one girl who would actually want to talk to him. There's almost no such thing as a friendship between girls and guys without an attraction on either side.

When most guys say that they are hinting that you are the only one they want to talk to and they are interested in you, without actually saying it and being labeled "creepy."

ok first, i think it's weird to ask guys 'who else are u talking to?'... it really comes across as a little nosey, no offence. i know u mean it in good fun, but the thing about guys who get that question, is that they'll give u what u wanna hear. most of them anyway.
so i do believe a lot of them r lying but u can tell when someone is giving their full attention to u. if u notice how he responds and how quickly, this can give u a slightly better idea even without asking.

Memes are usually about real life situations so what he said is what he meant. Now that doesn't necessarily mean he likes you because you're question is "who are the girls you talk to?" He is simply telling you that you are the only girl he has casual conversations with regularly
