Do all guys get jealous if their girlfriend has a celebrity crush?

My boyfriend doesn't like it when i tell him i have a celebrity crush because he says it's still a crush. So i say it's not a real crush and he just disagrees. But i currently have a celeb crush on Ian Somerhalder from the Vampire Diaries <3 but i haven't told my boyfriend yet because he doesn't like the show anyway & he always get's upset. Then he threatens to break up with me unless i forget about the celeb i have a crush on.

My first boyfriend was exactly like that, I was about the same age as you too. It was insufferable. He was so controlling and jealous and paranoid, over the littlest things... It all boils down to immaturity, and maybe even insecurity. I was the one who broke up with him, I couldn't take it and I also couldn't see him changing any time soon, so yeah.

My wife had "a crush" on Tom Selleck. My reaction was to buy Tom Selleck calendars for her to look at while I was on deployment in the Navy. Reacting as your BF does would have been stupid. It is harmless, not real, and actually a nice safe outlet for you.
