What does it mean when a guy always tries to walk behind you?

This guy that I really really like, my friends always tell me that they notice that he always rushes when class ends to walk behind me. The bell will ring and ill walk to the door with my friends and he'll quickly get up out of his seat and rush to walk behind me. He does it everyday.
