Why would a guy always walk past you?

It's a guy with who I have a lot of eye contact. I also overheard him talking to his friends about me as the 'hot' girl, his friends now look at me a lot and one of them pushed him towards me. Though, he didn't try anything (me too).

He now still look at me but more from afar than when he is closer. He also quickly look, look away and look back.
But that's now the second day he does this:
I'm in the hall at a table with my friends and he, alone, goes out of his class to walk past me. I wouldn't consider this as suspicious if he did this only one time.
The thing is that he knows I always sit there these days at this precise hour.
It usually happens like this: he goes out of his class, walks past me, looks at me quickly, sometimes look over his shoulder after. Then he walks past again to go to his class. A few minutes after, he does this again. Also, one day, he walks past me in the same situation except the fact it would have been simpler and he would come back to his class faster if he didn't walk past me. It was a kind of detour.

He obviously likes you but is too shy to come to you and say anything, so he's just hoping that you instead would talk to him first. You've got plenty of opportunities to, so go ahead if you like him too!

He is becoming shyer since the time he told his friends, before he would dare to stare into my eyes for a long time, from close, but now he only dares from afar, I don't know why x)
And also why exactly do you think he walked past me so many times? To look at me or for something else?

He's even more shy now because he knows that you know that he likes you! :)) As I said, he's doing that hoping you'd catch him and talk to him. So do it. :)

How does he know I know (haha)? When he talked to his friends, I'm sure they thought they were discrete hahaha :D

Oh, he hoped so? He had classes when he did and missed quite a lot of times of his lessons. He did it only for that?

Well, most of the time, he looks at me from afar, or leaving the place :)

:)) No. He's more sensitive about those stuff since he really does like you.

My initial opinion still stands. He wants you to talk to him, and he's getting shyer by the minute because no matter how much he passively tries to get you to talk to her, you're still not doing it, leading him to think that you don't like him in return, which just makes him even shyer! :))

Is it that hard to believe he likes you? Just go talk to him. :>

No, I can believe it, he has been so obvious even if it wasn't consciously. But I'm so shy, maybe he expects me to make the first move because he often sees me with my friends laughing and talking a lot? Do you think I seem more confident than I am?

Yeah, he does want you to do that. :)) And why be shy when you already know he likes you? It's not as if you will get rejected. And maybe the reason why he can't come up and talk to you is because you always have your friends around you? :/

Because he likes you, but doesn't know how to tell you. He's afraid to get rejected by you.

He doesn't know that you like him. All the suttle signs your throwing him, he may not recognize. Some times you need to make it obvious enough that it may be vocal.
