I'm feeling really insecure. Why don't guys like short girls?

I feel like guys only like tall girls, I'm 5'2 I feel insecure about it. 
Do any of you guys like short girls?

I think many girl and magazine advertisment make girls that are short feel less, also some people generally make feel shorter people like less, cause you are automatically dominated in that department
But guys like girls that are pretty and they do not want girl to be taller then them. So even if there are guys that don't like short girls, you as a short girl have so much more to choose from cause chances that guy is shorter than you are close to zero. imagine you were amazon girl, not much guys would be available, so being short has benefits and besides as long as the guy you like likes you the way you are who cares for the rest. so there will be that guy, you only need one

Guys do like short girls. I'm 5'1" and I've had no trouble attracting men. My sister is 4'11 1/2" and she has no trouble attracting guys. I just think it's all in your head.

Some guys love tall girls because they have sexy legs and look like models. Some want their kids to be tall. Some don't like to bend to kiss a girl. But there *are* guys out there that like short girls too, and I'm pretty sure A LOT of guys don't care about height at all, as long as the difference is not extreme. I understand that girls who are midgets or girls who are 6'5 can be insecure (although their height just makes them more interesting IMO), but girls in 5' range worrying about height? It doesn't make much sense to me.

YES! of course guys like short girls.

I am 6'1 and there is a girl right now that I really like who is 5'2. Quite the height difference but that does not change who she is or her level of attractiveness.

Do not feel insecure about your height, though this can be difficult as it is something you cannot change. As cheesy as it sounds whats most important is who you are, that is what will get guys.

This site is so interesting. One minute, I'll see a question from a tall girl insecure about her height and wondering if there are possibly any guys that would like a tall girl.

Then I see questions like these that seem to be completely oblivious to people's behavior. Many guys don't like a girl that is as tall or taller than he is, while short girls are just the norm. So when a short girl asks a question like this it makes me wonder, "What world do you live in?" lol

Sorry but this just isn't true. Can't really say I have a preference. Today it might be short tomorrow kinds of all sort. the last girl I had a thing for was short as in 5ft short you're taller. Then there was another chick who was literally tall like my 8 year old brother and she was hot too; a bitch but hot.

Your right, most taller guys probably wouldn't wanna date you. But as long as you aren't too shallow to date an average height guy, you should have no problem with finding a guy.

I personally love short girls and love tall girls equally. What really matters to me at least if she is the following: mature , has a big heart , polite, and has a great personality. All guys have there preferences, all guys are different , u will run into one I guarantee it will happen. Hope this helps!

Short, tall. Doesn't matter. Only a jackass guy would care. If you have a good personality, are attractive, etc. then it won't matter. It is actually preferred psychologically by men due to our protective nature. But that is just what my psych teacher told us. Good luck!

You probably should have been more specific, and asked about tall guys liking short girls. Which I assume is your concern since you're most likely into taller guys (6ft+)

I'm average height and now only date tall girls. I'm not going to be mean to them for it and plenty of guys like short girls, but it doesn't fit me. It's not just because of leg length (as some claim), but people wil judge me for it anyway. If that makes me a jerk, so be it, but I don't like telling nice lies.

That being said, everyone is attractive to someone and there's no shortage of men that would like your height. It would be considered very fitting by most men
