Why would he tell me that he went on a date when he knows that I like him?

Why would he tell me that he went on a date when he knows that I like him? I've been friends with my guy friend for about 8 months. We're both in college and now we're on summer break. He found out I liked him a week before we got out and he said that he didn't know if he liked me or not. A couple of weeks ago, he told another mutual friend that he kinda likes me, but he doesn't want to hurt me and he doesn't want to screw over my ex because they're kinda sorta friends. On the phone he said "Okay, I know you don't wanna talk about this, but I know that you like me and I know in the back of your mind, you think about doing sexual things to me." He also told me that I should say something dirty one time and that would make any guy swoon for me. He said "You're pretty, you can make any guy fall for you by doing that." We texted for 3 days in a row. We went about a week with no contact but he eventually snapchatted me and called me and invited me to go to six flags with his best friend and his gal friend. He called me last night and he told me how he went on a date on Sunday and he got laid and then he told me that I'm attracted to bad boys. He was like yeah, you like me because I'm a bad boy. He always brings up that I like him. He also told me he got a guy to leave me alone, by threatening him, but he lied. I asked the guy. He might've been doing the bad guy approach to make me like him more or something. We talked until 1 in the morning. If he doesn't like me, why won't he tell me that instead of dragging it out? My other guy friend thinks that he's just scared. He could've asked any girl to go with him to Six Flags like the girl he had sex with. But he might've lied about that too because my other guy friend said that he bullsh*ts a lot. Why would he tell me that he went on a date when he knows I like him? Help? Should I just ask him why he's being an a**hole and demand him to tell me the truth? Why would he talk sexually if he didn't like me? I'm so confused.
