My guy friend keeps making sexual advances on me?

My guy friend has changed completely in a few weeks. I've known him for forever. We grew up together. I've known him since I was 7. Now we're both 17. So usually he's really chill. We usually just hang out, joke around, and eat. Both of us have crushes on each other but I'm too shy to do anything about it, and he's a total flirt and so he's always bouncing between girls but somehow our platonic friendship works. Well it used to work. About two weeks ago one of my friends kissed him. Ever since then he's been acting really different. It's like that kiss opened up a damn that held back a shit load of sexual frustration. Now he's constantly trying to grab my ass, he's dry humping me, he's hugging me from behind, and he's touching on my upper thighs. It's starting to just get weird. At first I thought he was just joking, but now he won't stop. He just takes random objects out of my hands and shoves it in his boxers and tries to make me take it out. We're friends and everything, and I do have a crush on him, but now he's just starting to act like a total asshole. The only reason I ever liked him was because he was actually nice and specifically not an asshole. What happened to him?
