Its a long story and I dont want to give too much details but there's a guy I like who told me he liked me. Suddenly he put me in the friend zone and told me he just wants to be friends. I was really hurt and confused why he did that. I was really hurt because I told him that just because I liked him it didn't mean I expected any type of relationship. However, he told me he liked me first.
He made it seem like I was crazy and maybe I was being too affectionate but I didn't even notice I was being that way until he mentioned it. I didn't want to be friends like he said because I wasn't sure if I could just change my behavior because I wasn't even aware I was being overbearing in the first place. He even said "I think I like you way more than you like me" then he went from that to putting me in the friendzone in like 3 months time.
Then he goes and says that. Its fine but I just felt like being friends wasn't a good idea because I WAS only being his friend i never asked him out and I didn't expect him to ever ask me out so I told him "I dont think thats good for us. I think I should leave you alone" and he started spam texting me for hours almost begging me not to go. It made me feel a little bad and I decided that I will try and move past that rejection.
It hurt for a while though because I didn't ask him for ANYTHING and he still rejected me in a way. Why did he go from telling me he liked me to pretending he never said it to putting me in the friendzone? And the very next day he was the one flirting with me I dont get what this logic is? Why did he friendzone me and then go and flirt with me right after? (I haven't flirted back at all)
