Why is my friends boyfriend always rude to me?

ever since my friend started dating her now boyfriend, he's rude to me like give me the cold shoulder, never say hi or have a conversation with me. he would eye me down. he talks to everybody and my friends close friends except me. i dont know what is his problem with me and i ask my friend why. she doesn't really tell me why. there are times when i said hi to him first and try to start a conversation he just gives me the cold shoulder, won't say anything and its super awkward. he just seems like he's stuck up but actually talks to other people besides me. any ideas? has this happened to anyone with their friend? im thinking about not hanging out with her if she's with him but that would be hard because he is always with her when my friend and i have get togethers with our friends. im just thinking about avoiding him not saying anything to him at all because he just gives me the cold shoulder.

Do you guys have any sort of history together? It's possible that he likes you and just doesn't want to draw attention to that since he has a girlfriend now. So instead of talking to you at all, he ignores you.

The best thing you can do is to just ignore it. I know it's hard, but don't let that affect your relationship with your friend. We don't know for sure if he does in fact like you and that's the reason. So I wouldn't tell anyone. But just try to be considerate towards him, as you would anyone else. Don't go out of your way to be nice to him, but be reasonable.

Maybe over time he will warm up. But hopefully he starts to be nicer.

no we don't have any history. I been around him several times but he doesn't talk to me, gives me the cold shoulder, and doesn't seem interested to talk to me. whenever I go in the same room where he's at he leaves constantly.

There could Be Many reasons for this behavior. Maybe he had a crush on you before he and your friend started Dating, so he's avoiding you to get rid of those feelings. Maybe your friend vents about you to him, and he feels you aren't a very good friend to her, so instead of confronting it he just ignores you. Or he could just simply dislike you.
If it bothers you that much maybe request that you hang with your friend without him there. Or confront him about it.
