Should I just stop answering his calls?

A guy I have known for years has this habit of calling for a couple of days and then he will say "let me call you back" and days or weeks will pass and he does not call. When he finally calls he apologizes and we continue our courtship and then he does it again. We have been friends and lovers and have recently begun to talk again. We are no longer intimate, but we talk about being together. I am fed up with this horrible treatment from him.

It doesn't matter the reason anymore, I am just tired of the cycle.

My question is this: Should I just stop answering his calls; will he get the message that I want his best or nothing at all; or should I answer his call and let him know that I am looking for a Man who will cherish me and give his best because I am giving my best.

Which action will let him know, I will no longer allow him to treat me with such disrespect, and if he cannot respect me I am closing the door?

They guy has not called which clearly means he is not interested in me. I call it a lesoon learned and close the door on the so called "relationship/friendship". I will say goodbye to him as the year ends and open myself for a guy who will love me.

If you aren't getting what you want from him you got to let him know what's wrong or find another that will. It doesn't matter if he is offended or not if he isn't someone will.

I have told him more than once how it makes me feel when he treats me that way and he apoligizes but it does not stop. I mean if her knows, and does nothing to change his behavior, how should I respond? Should I just stop answering his calls and walk away?

If he has yet to change he wont. Got to find someone new. But don't just up and stop answering you got to let him know he was given a chance to change and he chose to blow it so you're over.
