Guy friend wants a picture of me?

So I met a guy about four months ago and we have grown to be pretty close. There are indications he likes me but I am still unsure.
We live around an hour away from each other so have only met three times before but two of these outings were just the two of us.
While we don't live near each other we talk literally everyday (with him initiating 99% of the time in all honesty) and he often compliments me (e. g. has called me cute and special) and shares his problems as well. We also have a matching bracelet which he wanted for his recent birthday.

Anyways, recently he has been asking me for a picture. Not anything raunchy but just of my face. He has mentioned it multiple times since a few days ago when he first asked. And everytime he brings it up he acts rather nervous. He says he wants it for a contact picture (which I understand) however we never ever talk on the phone (even texting) but through Skype so I fail to see the purpose of that. Plus, none of the other people on his phone have pictures yet he wants one of me.

Does he just want it for a contact picture? Or is there another reason?

Uhh that's kinda weird, it could be due to 3 reasons I can think of

1. He has contact pictures of everyone. Some people are really meticulous about that and prefer having a pic for everyone. I'm kinda one of em.
2. He has dirty intentions. Yes, some guys will get pics just to jerk off to them.
3. He is seriously infatuated with you and wants to see your face all the time

Lol He obviously likes you as kore than a friend. He wants to be able to look at your picture and dream of a life that could be. Since he doesn't want anything raunchy, why not sending him? This small gesture would certainly make him happy. Do you feel something for him?
