My Boyfriend likes Asian stuff, should I be worried?

It used to not bother me, but my boyfriend is, in his words, a major "japanophile", which means that he likes stuff from japan, he's a huge fan of godzilla movies, collects action figures from there and even had japanese music on his phone and I don't mean modern japanese pop music, I mean traditional japanese music, japanese rock music from the 1960s and even soul music sung in japanese.

This used to not bother me, but I found out that he's been communicating via facebook groups with people from over there, mostly centered around some retarded shows like power rangers... and that group has japanese women amongst it's ranks. I'm worried that he may up and leave me for an Asian woman.

Should I be worried? Does his behavior warrant my concern?

I'll also add the fact that he actually spent over a year in Japan prior to our relationship, so he may have had some flings over there, do you think he might have an Asian fetish? I can't be with a guy like that.

LOL no way girl, you're being insecure. If suppose he spent time with his friends where many of them are girls, would you be worried equally? It's the same as girlfriends having crush on superstars but if they get to meet them in real life, they wouldn't cheat on their partner if they were serious about their relationship.
He is just passionate about a culture, the products of a culture. If he isn't selfish and is considerate, then he will never leaving you on the grounds of being a Japanophile.

Okay, so I'm a little obsessed with sports (hence my username). I think about it often, talk about it often, and it's a lot of fun for me.

That said, I'm not gonna leave my partner to go date a baseball player or something. LOL

Well, some of his godzilla and anime memorabilia and a good chunk of his Blu-ray collection started to disappear and all of his Facebook friends in other countries have been unfriended :D

I'm now doing my best to keep tabs on who he talks to online and what websites he goes to and I'm also trying to ween him off of foreign things

His obsessions make a little concerned so I need to be vigilant and, I swear, if he does indeed leave me for some chinky little bitch he'll never hear the end of it...
