if she is my friend. i will give her a hug and tell her she is okay and comfort her. if it is a stranger, then i would just sit down an try to see if i can make her smile. if any girl wants to talk about it, i would happily sit there and listen to what they have to say and try to comfort them even more with my responses to things she says

Fake? Real? Do I know this girl? Either way... awkward. I want to help or say something, but when it's a stranger, I really just feel awkward; I don't know them or their situation, so I can't really offer advice or say much of anything without being the guy who "butts in."

I am one of those girls! I once saw a guy crying in public and wanted to help but I just couldn't make myself go! I felt so bad and I know how it feel when you want cry and be left alone in public. He had someone else with him so, I left. I got really upset though. I don't like when guy cry it make me cry.

They usually have no idea how to react or help. Guys usually be like *throws tissues.* or yell "I THINK you're PRETTY. STOP CRYING." or just slowly hands them chocolate.

You mean the 'bomb squad' approach? Just slowly slide the chocolate over, from as far away as possible (preferably with a stick) and then run as soon as it is in place. With any luck she won't chase you down and rip your head off.

@Conrad_Kelsiven That's only if she's on her period and handing the girl a dog always works

If it's a friend or family member straight away confort them, try to make sure their ok, just hug them and tell them it will be alright etc

If it's a random girl tho I won't try to comfort her unless she is on her own, that sounds creepy but hear me out, I'm not gonna walk up to a group to check if she's ok but if I was walking past and she is sitting alone cryin I can't just walk away and leave her to cry I would at least check if she's ok and then see her reaction would dictate what I do next whether I try to comfort her or walk away

It depends on the girl and why she is crying. If the girl is always mean, nasty and bitchy to everyone around her then I don't care if she is crying she can just go cry in a corner by herself. If the girl is only crying to get her own way with something then I will just ignore her, there is no way manipulation will work on me. However, if the girl is a nice, kind and caring girl and is genuinely upset I want to take her into my arms and hold her tight.

@Northeast106 " I've just known too many women personally who cry for zero reasons. It's like when you hear kids cry all the time, it's just what they do." That's what they do WHILE expecting us to "comfort/go easy on them" because they're "vulnerable" like naw... bump that they can fend for themselves... MFs may call the cops on me anyway for even touching them so yeah... F that *teleports away*

If I care for her, I would be worried and most likely go up to her and comfort her.
If I don't know her or don't care about her, I would wonder why she's crying, but it wouldn't cause any emotion on me.

Now, I would feel bad for them, I probably would talk to them and try to make them feel better, but my issue is, I can't comfort people, I have no sympathy at all for some reason, it's a curse. I can't help people, I always find the reason something happened, and once I know, I have no sympathy. That simple :(

    Mind:
    - Mind your own business fool! She probably wants to be alone right now, so give her some space!

    Peelings:
    - Aw, she had a bad day. Why don't we go over and and ask her how she is

    Stomach:
    - Ain't nobody got time to listen to her problems. We have to eat.

There is an overbearing urge to make it stop by doing anything that can be done to fix the problem that caused it. It's like an instinct.

I'd probably not care unless I knew her emotionally then I'd talk to her in that nurturing voice and ask what was wrong and try to understand the situation. If it was something was actually bad that happened to her then I'd comfort her.

It is human instinct to want to rush to and protect the higher pitched cry of women and children. It sets off a safety trigger in our brains. Think of it as a survival mechanism.

If she isn't cute, then we treat her like any normal person. If she is cute... Super Sonic Listener Man to the rescue!

Would make me upset, and want to find out the reason why and resolve it. Don't like seeing anyone be upset.
