He thinks I don't care about him?

so I met this guy through a friend a long time ago. she(my friend) introduced me to him . we exchanged numbers then emails to remind you were kind of young 18/19. so me and him started to get to know each other a bit more and at the time I was really busy with school and work and just going through family problems. so he was really interested wanting to get into a relationship with me but he was not for it because he just got too tired of my excuses saying I "looked to busy to be in a relationship" so just recently we started speaking again we've missed each other, and still like each other. now I'm ready to be in a relationship and so is he. but I don't know if its jealousy or insecurity I just don't know but he says I don't call him enough and if I

don't as he thinks I don't care about him also asked if I talk to a lot of guys he thinks I don't like him. he asks who I'm on the

phone with. he always says or asks when he sees me having to do something with male attention or something that can bring in

male attention. what to do. I hate to be one to baby someones feelings and constantly have to make sure there okay and "happy" again. I want to be with him but I don't know, opinions?

I'm sure he's a wonderful person if he's that insecure. He's only trying to make sure you're not with any other people because it wouldn't be fair. Just sit him down and talk to him and let him know he's your only man. Look him in the eyes, be close together, make him feel special, and he'll be fine. He just needs to get over himself but I promise you he'll come around. He just doesn't want someone who's dating someone else. Something in his mind ain't clicking and he thinks you have better things to do than be with him. Make him think you don't and all will be well. Cheers.

He sounds very insecure. You need to tell him, one on one, that you're his and nobody else can have you (and maybe hold him close in a hug after you tell him this) :)

That should ease his mind and make him smile.

i know how you feel. it hurts when the person you care for thinks you don't care about them, when in reality you do. I think this is the part where you need to sit him down and tell him how much you do care. then every now and then remind him how much you care with little things. surround him in love. he needs to learn how to trust you.
