Is it normal for a guy "friend" to nuzzle your neck while he is hugging you?

This is the first time he has done this. We have only known each other for a couple of months. Sometimes when he hugs me he'll rub my back. He is extremely affectionate and will hug me at every chance he can get. It is very intimate. What do you think?

Can be, more affectionate people are known to be more touchy feely like that, or he might enjoy touching you cause he's a bit pervy.

perhaps it's a bit outside of normalcy considering how long you've two known each other. although, i wouldn't call it a red flag.

Makes sense. I am affectionate too but I don't nuzzle into peoples neck. Guess everyone is different.
