Guys, Why is he blowing up my phone?

I've been seeing this guy for over a year recently he's been blowing my phone up he didn't used to act like this now if I don't awnser or something he won't stop calling or texting until i respond why did he start acting this way

Probably cause he cares more for you than you do for him, he thinks he is losing you and acts out of despiration. The instinct respond is to 'bother' you untill he gets what he wants/needs.
