Why does my teacher always stare at me?

I'm 17 and my male teacher always stares at me when I'm in his class or not. He would be looking right into my eyes. He's married and would be in his 30ies. I'll look up and he would be either staring or smiling. He's not day dreaming cause it happens all the fcking time. I'm not even talking either or doing something I shouldn't be doing. Ill be just doing my work. He does it in exams too, which is really annoying. It's so hard to concentrate.

If I see him outside, he'll make eye contact and hold when i walk past him. He doesn't teach me so he doesn't know me much as a student. yet, he tries to talk to me more than any of his students. And when he talks to me, he smiles all the time. Most of my friends have noticed this too. It's just that he behaves in this weird manner wid me, but nothing beyond.
He acts normal to the other girls... I'm confused.
I don't know if he hates me or likes me or is it just that he finds me attractive?
