Guy staring at me for a really long time?

I was talking with some friends while doing an art project when this guy in my class who is in front of me stood up and stared at me. It was awkward because it got silent and the guy was staring at me so I looked elsewhere. When I turned my head to the front he was still staring at me... He stared for a few more seconds then stood up and went.
