I am a college student.
I missed first 2-3 classes I have w/this guy. It was my first day going to that class and I was late. I walked in and everyone stared at me; it's natural, you become the center of the attention when you are late to class.
However, this guy kept staring me even after I sat down. I felt like someone was looking at me so I turned and it was the same guy. Our eyes met but he didn't even flinch, he just looked at me. He turned away but and then again, I would feel someone looking at me. And this happened again the next class
He still looks at me from time to time but it's not the same. He is watching soccer the entire class and wouldn't really look at me during class like he used to?
I kept running into him this week
1. I was talking with my friends in front of the library and I saw him walking by from a distance and I kept looking at him. He looked and turned away and looked at me again
2. I was sitting down at the lounge outside Starbucks and he and his friends came and quite lingered there and left; he and his friends were wearing a uniform so I am assuming he has practice?
3. The next day, I went to Starbucks and he and his friends were in outside lounge. I went inside to order and came back outside to sit at the lounge; he was staring me as I was walking outside so I smiled at him but he didn't smile back at me and just kept gazing. He was done with his work but kinda hovered around my table talking with his friends
I am really confused
1. If he is interested in me why does he just give me this intense stare and not do anything when I smiled at him? He could have smiled back at me. Why does he keep looking at me even though he knows that I notice him doing that?
2. Maybe it's because I really look like his parents/friends/ex-girlfriend? and he just can't take his eyes off me because of a stunning resemblance
3. Or he just really does not like me and he is expressing his hatred through this quite scary intense gaze?
