How long will a guy pursue a girl before giving up?

This guy I met this year in one of my classes has started to express interest in me...specifically getting with me. He texts a bunch and flirts in person, not so subtly hinting at me going to his house to "hang out". Today, he jokingly told me he's flirting, but that I'm playing hard to get.

I figure that all he wants from me is a physical relationship, but if I do "play hard to get"...how long would it take for him to get bored and move on? I know every guy is different...but what do you think? Also, if a guy comes on so strongly like that with hints at physical intimacy, is there any way for him to want more? Or once he gets, will he be gone?

If it's soley for physical intimacy, I don't think it can last long before he gets bored. If you give in, then maybe he'll want more and you guys can experiment together... but I still think it's better to have you guys emotionally connected as well first so your relationship lasts longer.

VEry wise. If he isn't seriously interested you won't hear from him again. If he really likes you and just comes on strong...he may NEVER give up. Not that he'll stalk you or anything, but people don't change their minds about REALLY liking someone..do they?

Depends if he likes you a lot or not if you are worth it he will keep pursuing if you are not worth it he will just move on. That's just me though I don't know about him
