What did he mean when he said" I was just thinking about you! ?

My guy friend and I have been texting everyday since last September. And he is always the one who texts me first. But for a change, I texted him last night and asked him how he's doing. He replied"I was just thinking about you! ". He has also asked me what i think of him when he was drunk texted me a few months ago. Does it mean something? Or am I over thinking?

As a guy it is really hard to want to be just friends with a girl. I do have one girl who is a really good friend friend and thats it and im happy its like that, But he may be into you if he asks you what he thinks of you and texts you so much and as a guy usually a girl you really like is always on your mind

He could be interested in you. I'd say he is. Or he really appreciates you as a friend. I'd assume the first though.
