Please help! Am I really that unlikeable or undateable?

I'm wondering why no guys like me or want to go out with me. I've been told by all my friends and sometimes even strangers that I'm really pretty, but when I see others In relationships it makes me wonder why I'm not or why no one wants to be with me. Like I'm not that shy, I smile and laugh A lOT, and am pretty friendly. I've even been told by some guys that I'm beautiful or really cute but none of them have tried to ask me to date them or anything. One of the guys even openly talks about how he wants a relationship to and has told me he thinks I'm really pretty but has not tried to go further. This really make me question if people just say this and not mean it or why this is happens for me.

well you may say that people tell you that you're pretty (but i don't see a picture so i can't really judge)... so let's say you are attractive : then the only problem would be either the reputation you have around you making men NOT want to be with ou OR the other problem would be your attitude towards men that they find unattractive or unappealing. It really depends on your surroundings.
Otherwise the only problem that would arise in my opinion would be that you are not as attractive as you think (or as people make you think).

If you are wondering why you aren't getting guys then the answer is almost always; you are too passive and aren't trying hard enough. My friends always asked me how I get guys. The answer is simple : I actually try and make a effort. I've joined dating sites, I make first moves, I put myself out there and I flirt. You cannot expect guys to just come to you and do all the work. You will have to play the game and that will include making a effort and not passively waiting around. Smiling and laughing is not enough.

Well put , also men will never reject a woman in a rude , offhand way , like a lot of women will do to men , we will be flattered & as it's so rare , female attention is appreciated. Men fear being rudely shot down , saw this happen so many times , when working as door staff.
