Do guys ever look back and regret using a girl for sex only?

I'm sure it depends on the guy and the situation. This is a very open ended question in the sense that "guys" is a very general term.

I would break it down into large categories:
1.) "Players" who essentially string a girl along. I'm talking about what I refer to as "pervy sharks." They're the guys who charm a girl into thinking that they are in love with them, but then they have sex and suddenly disappear (often with the girl heartbroken and crying "what went wrong"). Chances are these guys simply don't really care about the girls feelings if they're doing this... so the only way they'd look back and regret is if they had a moment of clarity and change their life around (maybe if they were to find someone to settle down with). But probably not, as they got their goal (sex) and moved on quickly after.

2.) Guys who have a short term / friends with benefits / mutual sex-no-strings-attached relationship with some girl. I'm talking about the kind of relationships were no-romantics-involved sort and they knew it was sex only. The majority of situations like this are going to end with the guy and girl going their separate way, no hard feelings. I doubt the guy is going to regret considering they both knew what they were getting into. If problematic feelings do arise, it's probably not going to be due to sex (but rather from someone getting feels for the other).

3.) People who one-timed a short term sex encounter. These are not pervy sharks since they don't make a habit of it, but just an average joe experimenting with the ways of the pervy shark. This one would have sex with a girl, ghost em, and never talk to them again. I would say this is the one most likely have regret. They tried the ways of the pervy shark but realized it wasn't for them. They actually have morals that get in the way.

So, all in all, it is a no for the most part-- the guy won't regret, but it really depends on the guy and the type of sex-only relationship they had with the girl I'd say.

No, I never fully have. There were points where I did regret for a bit... but then I realized how women use me too. And how we all just use each other to fulfill some silly idea or fantasy. How many women have I met who were obsessed with Marriage.. must get married, gotta find a guy and holy fuck these GIRLS I'll call them, because they were young, showed very little concern for the guys feelings.

I've also been used for sex several times, and I don't like it really but... There's a lot of things I don't like really, and it's just the way the world is. (and almost every guy I could encounter would probably tell me "Why the fuck are you complaining about being used for sex? You got sex!" Which is like... yay awesome... we're still 14 and hanging onto bogus age-old ideas?

Most people don't seem to concern themselves with how they're using others and quite often do so without even realizing it. Men acknowledge using women for sex because at some point in time that became cool within the circles of men. That doesn't mean we all don't use each other in a variety of other ways, we just don't talk about it as much or at all. Everyone who uses others in some way or form does so imagining or believing that this is good for them self and leads to having a good life. And we're all selfish that why and try to reach for that good life however we can imagine it. Mm, I'd like to say that's part of what life is all about.

Reality is what we think it is. There's no real such thing as good or evil. It's all personal opinions or ideas. Look all around the world across the various cultures and back through history and you'll notice how we're all so very alike in the ways we pursue our dreams, and so very different in what those dreams are. And yeah, some guys dream about banging a bunch of chicks without remorse... sometimes all at once.

Interesting question. I believe it depends on the guy, and the time frame of the exchange. Now I have a question myself. Would you think that a guy would care if he had sex with a woman for a year frequently, and also on and off?

Yes. And since I've learned my lessom, i have a lot of respect for women... and do my best to be chivalrous to all women. They deserve so much respect, more than ill ever know. Especially if one is your partner. I fucked up, i wronged her terribly. But i learned from it, and now i have a better understanding of chivalry.

Not really. The only time I'd say I really did that, she was using me for sex just as much as I was here (we were both getting over big relationships: mine was my ex-boyfriend (my first lover) who moved across the country, hers was her boyfriend of two years).

Yes, they do but only if they realize how good a girl she was by personality and they realize what they lost.

It's also possible for guys to realize this if they develop feelings for that girl but after using her for sex.
