My ex drove past me and beeped his horn what does this mean?

Things ended badly. He was emotionally abusive and left me for someone he was already seeing. Then I see him while I'm standing at the light and he's in his work truck and beeps multiple times for me to see him. After that he pulls off and keeps going. What was the point of that? Why did he do that?

To be honest, I really have no idea. My best idea was that he was trying to get a reaction out of you after your breakup, perhaps to make you feel worse.
