Do guys like delicate & feminine looking women, if so why?

I'm curious on this perceived idea of women being delicate. We are strong, yet its true some women appear delicate. What guys think of these women?

There's a certain body type that works but its a very slim amount of women can pull it off without their. Body showing that its not meant to be that skinny.

As an example lots of women have the false idea that they need to be skinnier than they need to be. (I know this is a eating disorder that has multiple names for different symptoms.) But as a tip for all women if you got the bones to carry a heavier weight dont be afraid to gain the muscle. Cause what it comes down to is that you look lean and healthy.

If you got ribs sticking out and you are almost translucent. Your never going to get a guy unless he is trying to help you get out of your self dug grave.

My personal opinion on delicate girls though is that they are not my cup of tea. As in they appear fragile would be the wording. And I'd never be comfortable giving them a hug or do the romantic stuff. Simply cause I wouldn't trust my own strength around them.

Because from a genetic standpoint women are physically delicate on average compared to men. It wasn't that long ago, when corporate deskjobs were considered womens work and if you were a man you were doing a hard labor job. Because that was mans work. The only thing that really determines on whether or not something is delicate is the environment and those within it. The strongest man in the world in the middle of the jungle surrounded by Gorillas and Tigers is pretty delicate in that environment. Yea, I'm sure he's mentally/emotionally strong in order to survive. But he is physically delicate in that environment.

In society, women by and large are delicate physically compared to men on average. I'm sure many are emotionally/mentally strong. But it is a rare few that are actually "strong" from a physical standpoint as compared to men.

Yes, most guys like a female thats feminine. Its what makes men attracted to us and want to be with us in the first place.

I tend to like a "delicate" appearance. I prefer the word, "elegant" though to describe my preferences, with supple limbs and fingers and a graceful posture.

I think part of it is because it comes in contrast to the male body which is thicker and more forceful and deliberate in its movements.

I imagine you are talking more about "delicate" as a personality trait. In that sense, I'm rather neutral.

In general I find the most beauty in what I call the "average-fit" figure. That is, if we were to take the average male and female, and throughout childhood they had a very healthy diet and rigorous physical whole-body activities, I like the result.

The female would tend to be quite slim and fit, the male would tend to be quite chiseled. Both would have very balanced proportions. The female would not necessarily have enormous breasts and bum, she would not have considerable muscle mass. The male would not look like a bodybuilder.

I tend to like this type of canon of the healthy and fit human being -- steering away from extremities.

Today I was sitting and a girl in front of me was this prissy dainty but, my lord, curvy too. Her hands were delicate soft yet you know she can give a mean hand job with those nails... body slender like catwomen, and curves so sharp we need to change those brakes to high peformance

I'd say i like girl girls and i like tomboys to a certain extent unless they starting looking like butch lesbians. If i wanted a tough, hard looking partner I'd be gay. I don't want a woman to be like me

It's a protection thing. A lot of guys are turned on by the idea of taking care of a woman and having her be his at the same time. Delicate and feminine women just look the most suitable for that.
